Philadelphia City Hall

We’ve arrived in Philadelphia! We’ve been here for a few days, busy unpacking, buying furniture, and setting up utilities. We did hit a stumble with the power because the previous tenant had an outstanding balance with the electric company, and they’re giving us a hard time about it. Still working on getting that settled but here’s to hoping it clears by the end of the week. At least we have power now!

No internet at our new place yet, but I’ve been so busy with errands and unpacking that I’ve barely noticed. This last week has been a blur. I do have data on my phone so I’ve been checking in with friends that way. Every now and then, I’d hook it up to my laptop and access the internet that way through USB tethering. Yay technology! I don’t know what I’d do without my phone.

Otherwise, I’ve been filling my downtime with gaming. After years of owning it, I finally finished Escape Rosecliff Island! I also completed another Final Fantasy 6 run. I never get tired of that game. I’m thinking of restarting Chrono Trigger too. You can tell I’ve been on a SNES kick lately.

I guess you can all treat this as a mini-hiatus until I can get steady internet fixed up. I’ll catch up with everyone once we’re totally settled. See you all then! Hope everyone’s doing well. :D

  1. Congratulations on making it to Philadelphia! Despite of having problems with the power company, at least you have power now! Hopefully everything will get settled and taken care of in a timely manner. Hope to see you soon ;D

    1. I’ve been pretty quiet lately, but sometimes I’d go to Tumblr and do a major reblog streak for ten minutes. It’s like BAM I’m here and now I’m not! I’m a ~*ninja*~

    1. Thanks dear! I’ve been sinking a lot of time on Goat Simulator. I don’t even know what I’m doing. Something about that game… @_@

  2. Congratulations on the move! That’s really exciting to hear that you’ve been able to settle in Philadelphia! I look forward to hearing about your adventures there. Hopefully, the power issue gets cleared up and you get wifi soon! But sounds like you’ve been doing well without it ;D

  3. Great picture of Philly! I’ve never been, but I’m actually visiting soon (college visit fun, yay)!

I suppose there’s always wifi-freeloading in cafes and bookstores?! Good luck getting everything settled!

    1. I go to Starbucks sometimes! But it’s quite a trip so I mostly just do something else that doesn’t need internet. :’D
