Taiwan 2014: Post One

Hello from Taiwan! I began this blog post while we were on a four-hour layover in Korea, but I was pretty tired so I spent the rest of my time eating sandwiches and watching YouTube videos. We spent an entire day traveling which I’m not very used to (Vegas to Manila is about 16 hours which I guess would be my threshold), but we made it and I’m excited!

There were only so many tables, and we didn’t have a reservation, so we were lucky to be seated. Read more…

Valentine’s Evening

Hope everyone had a pleasant Valentine’s weekend! Michael and I aren’t big on celebrating but we did go out on a little date last Friday. Had a delicious dinner at a sandwich shop and took a walk around our local town square. It was a good time.

The weather was perfect! I went with and without my coat, and I was neither hot nor freezing. It’s getting a bit too warm for February though, even in Las Vegas. I’m not looking forward to summer this year. Read more…
